This wedding was classic Territory. Two legends in love, who give their whole spirit to the local community. Nuptials exchanged on a dusty cattle station by the banks of a croc-filled river. Akubras and starched collars and beauties in heels parading through the red dust. A couple of donkeys overseeing the bridal portraits. The bride and groom rolling into their reception on a rusted bull catcher. A party that went into the wee hours fueled by beer and sugarcane champagne, with a multitude of tents and swags for the partygoers to stumble into. A post-wedding mechanical bull. The Porters swore their oaths to each other in the same way they live life- vibrantly, affectionately, quirkily with endless stand-up comedy. There ain’t no party like an Annie & Will party.
